CARE ADVICE FOR PENDANTS
Here are some important tips to help you keep your jewellery in perfect condition:
Avoid exposing your jewellery to perfumes, creams, oils and household chemicals.
Store each item of jewellery separately in the box provided to avoid scratches.
Keep chains fastened and lay them flat so that they do not tangle.
Take care to avoid extreme humidity or heat as this may cause tarnishing.
Remove all jewellery before showering, swimming, or washing up.
Clean your jewellery regularly using warm soap and water, and the jewellery cloth provided with your purchase.
With time and wear, sterling silver will naturally become oxidised and eventually tarnish. Storing silver jewellery in a sealed plastic bag or airtight box when it is not being worn will keep out the air that causes oxidation.
Items travelling far via post can sometimes arrive with a little oxidation but all you need to do to fix this is use a few drops of mild, non-phosphate dish soap and warm water to help clean up the tarnish, and then use the polishing cloth provided and this will make them look good as new.
